I still have my notes from university physics, chemistry, Newtonian Mechanics textbook and workbooks. There is an emphasis on detailed calculations and zero in depth study of implications of the disciplines in civilization as a whole. There are no dots connected. The university studies are always behind the curve leaving students with little in the way of real world applications. The promise of usefulness and overviews is always next year or later and one never seems to be qualified.
Mark's refusal to answer a basic question about his own understanding of quantum physics, given what he knows about it presently, is more of a social and political indication of a violent "no go zone", similar to the inner core of some cities lately, where trained and skilled academics will rough you up and kill you if you enter their zone. Mark is afraid, very afraid. I'm not. Because I have a few tough friends going into the quantum no go zone to back me up: Matzke, Russell, Penfield, and HSBurr. With them backing me up, I can swing an academic bat around and act tough. Mark hasn't read any of them. Mark only has his unread college quantum physics textbook.
Laughably, Mark dismisses the entire internet as useless for learning and doesn't even mention ChatGPT. That's my laugh of the day.
