I'm struck, today, with the failure of Dave Pizer as a general theme. I'll be developing the idea over coming days. What prompted it was passing by his property on Cave Creek Road here in Phoenix on the way back from Home Depot which has a new fence up around it and appears to be sold, or in real estate parlance, flipped. He ran his father's upholstery shop out that location for years. I did several stints there as a "worker" in the 1990's. I also met with Dave to do commodity trading out of a back office there.
In another thread here, I explore the idea that Dave never intended to create a cryonics retreat. He appears to me to have used his cryonics sales pitch as a way to attract cheap "workers" in cryonics, like me, until he could flip his properites. He's flipping properties, non-stop, to this day, while in his 80's. He's a one trick pony. I was conned. By Dave. Dave, the cryonics con-man.
