Bill Balloon refers to New Zealand cryonics having a $50M endowment fund in a recent video posted to FACEbook. I never heard of that before. It has seem to me for 10 years that cryonics is a kind of front for an endowment "business" since no cryonics survival center and anti-aging retirement community ever evolved. Don Laughlin's billion is tied up in a dead-hand trust as a perpetual trust in N. Dakota and Pizer's 10 million has never been referred to online so likely ended up following Laughlin's idea of dead-hand trust. These guys but on future recovery leaving nothing for current generations to get there. All current cryonics orgs including Oregon work on shoestring budgets. The big money is cleared off the table at wealth preservation confernces only to be steered to dead-end trusts that actually have become a big problem. A simple law against perpetual trusts would end this "type" of cryonics as a financial front... which is all it has become in my opinion.
