Dwyn sat patiently, her white tail curled gracefully around her. She felt a slight tingle in her shoulders, from which beautiful butterfly wings had sprouted. Her light purple eyes glanced back to take them in, a toothy smile crossing her face as she adored them. She would…be able to fly. Drevis hadn’t been able to – when she was kidnapped to Tarben, her dragonfly wings were frail, and although she claimed they had gotten used to the cold, she still could not fly, at least within Tarben lands. Her head whipped back around at the sound of a wolf within the lands of Amaya - ”Well, hello there, not every day we get a beautiful woman at our borders.” Her purple eyes quickly scanned over the male, noting the feline features and tiger striping. She let a smirk of her own slide onto her maw at the compliment, giving a slight dip of her cranium. ”Why thank you.” Dwyn spoke, words composed and showing a bit of ‘elegance’, if you may. Nothing over the top snooty, but she grew up in royalty, so some of those manners were ingrained. ”I’m Uzi, Sigma of Amaya. And you are?” The male spoke as he sat, his sleek tail wrapping around his paws. Sigma, huh? It smelled of so few wolves here, who were ranked above him? He seemed like he would be deserving of at least a higher rank, but did not ponder for too long as he was expecting a response – her name. There would be no harm in telling him her real name, right? She was no longer near Tarben. They likely wouldn’t know of her. ”It’s a pleasure to meet you, Uzi. My name is Dwyn.” Her voice was pleasant in tone, lighthearted even. She felt relief in getting to meet someone who knew nothing of her, had no bias aside from her initial appearance and mannerisms. And given he thought she was beautiful, well, that was a good sign to her, a great sign, even. None of the males wanted her in Tarben because of her apparent disdain for their ways. Ares had claimed her, but when she spoke of treason, it made sense that they never had children. Not that it bothered her. She refused to be a pawn or a prize to be claimed by a male, and then be forced to have children she did not want to have raised in the dane ways. Her soft violet eyes met with his emerald ones as he started to give a speech about Amaya. ”Let me get you up to speed her with Amaya’s laws – We have similar laws to a pack apparently called Tarben.” The lass quickly and angrily stood up, turned around, muttered a ”No thanks.” and took a step as he spoke the next line. ”However, instead of men having the power, women do.” Dwyn stopped immediately and whipped her head back, confusion and interest contorting her face. She returned to her prior sitting position as Uzi continued. ”The women here choose who they lay with, whoever they want and as many as they want. Consent of course is always needed, though I doubt a lovely young lady such as yourself would be denied by any.” A small blush rose to her cheeks at the insinuation, complimenting the smile that found its way onto her maw. ”Ranking here is based on desirability. If you have any other questions, please let me know.” Getting clarification on the ranking system helped her understanding, however, the question still stood. ”So, what’s your red flag that has you only as a sigma?” She taunted, the tip of her tail wagging playfully as she sat, and followed those words with a small chuckle. ”Amaya sounds like heaven compared to Tarben.” She spoke, her words genuine. ”Or dare I say, Amaya’s laws about consent should be the bar for all other packs?” She smiled, looking back at her wings for a brief moment, before standing up and walking over the border towards Uzi. He was slightly larger than herself, she noted. It was likely he was pure dire wolf, while she had some mixed in grey wolf because of her father. To Uzi, it could look very well like Dwyn was walking right at him, but she would sidestep about a foot away from him before walking past his side, making sure to brush her tail against him, whether it be under his maw or along his shoulder blades, she just hoped it would get across that she was interested in him in that way. She would refuse to let him know that he’d be her first, unless he knew how to detect the untainted. Though, it sounded like many in Amaya would not care. Wherever her tail caressed, she continued to walk past him, her soft purple eyes taking in the beauty of Amaya, her maw slightly agape. ”Okay, maybe Amaya is heaven. It’s so…colorful here. Even without the leaves, I can’t wait to see them during fall.” With her elemental powers, she kicked up a small breeze, causing some of the branches to smack around, hearing the brush rustle – she loved this. Loved here. Her tail wagged softly and her new wings fluttered a bit in glee, while her body stayed put. She wanted so badly to jump around, enjoy the scenery. It was like her inner child had been caged up all this time while in Tarben. All she knew was ice, cold, and misogyny, and had learned to tolerate it. Never learned to adore the world – but now she could. She looked at Uzi, whether he was still behind her or now at her side, and spoke, smile wide on her face. ”How come more haven’t found out about this paradise?!” Her purple eyes then turned back to the waterfall. ”And the waterfall…I’ve never seen one…so magnificent.” She would not dare to mention the pink strand that connected her chest to his for now – it frightened her. Actions and thoughts and "Words."
