Life was blooming back into Amaya – the trees were regrowing leaves, and even flowers began to bloom on some. The calls of birds, frogs, and other small animals echoed through the lands as the waterfall slowly thawed out, the gentle sound of flowing water through most of the lands, while the powerful crashing of the waterfall drowned that out. It was not an overbearing sound, however its distinct sound could be heard from anywhere in the borders. At the peak stood a large, black winged beast with the skull of a ram donned on his face. Crowe was his name, and although he looked like the opposite of the colorful life blooming here, he and his pack were also full of life. He and his soulmate, Echo, had 5 children of their own who had almost too quickly approached their teen years. No other pups had been born yet, but with the romance blossoming between Uzi and new member Dwyn, the alpha had no doubt there would be more rascals running around soon. The king’s dark eyes quickly scanned his surroundings. It looked dead. He deemed it a good time to host a pack meeting. Crowe let out a deep howl, calling for the members to come to the waterfall for a pack meeting. After his call stopped echoing and bouncing off the trees, he jumped from the edge of the waterfall, gently and surprisingly quietly coasted on his wings towards the little outcropping of soil that naturally caused the waterfall to divot down two separate pathways. Upon landing, he sat down just as quietly, wrapping his dark plume around his rump and folding his pitch wings flat to his back. His dark eyes and ears kept alert of approaching members. As soon as everyone was there, Crowe began to speak. ”Thank you all for coming. I wished to do a check-up on everyone, and change up some rankings, hence why you are here.” He looked around at everyone as he spoke once again. ”Before I start, does anyone have any updates or concerns?” He paused, giving time for others to speak. Once everyone that had something to say had finished, the king took his opportunity, first turning towards his children. ”My children, Talon, Salem, Chiodos, Facilier, and Cruella, while you approaching adulthood, you are still ranked as pups. I will gladly listen to your ranking preferences, but know that a higher rank tends to require more desirability and likeability among the pack.”. Next – Narcissus. As far as I’m aware, you have not acted upon your iota duties, but given what I have heard of the current situation amongst other lands, I do not blame you. When the tension lessens, I expect you to help establish some alliances. Therefore, you will also remain as iota.” Crowe could not really care less about however the maned male would respond, hoping to prevent any comments as he turned to Evergreen. ”Evergreen, I would like to make you Zeta. I can imagine more pups will be born here soon-“ Crowe’s dark eyes took a quick glance to Uzi, hoping to make eye contact in that second, before attempting to have his black eyes meet Evergreen’s again. ”-and they will need someone to corral them as Echo, Narcissus, and I are out and about more.” Crowe then turned his gaze to the newest, white lass Dwyn. ”Dwyn, as a new member of Amaya, you are placed at Sigma. I’m sure Uzi explained the desirability rule at the border, but as a brief reminder, your rank in most cases will represent your desirability and likeableness amongst the pack. And Uzi-“ Crowe turned his head to the tiger boy, who was donned with a set of avian wings of his own, and was likely sitting next to the leucistic lady. ”And Uzi – I’m happy to say I want you as my Delta.” Crowe then took one last glance over everyone. ”And lastly, Echo and I remain as the alphess and alpha. If no one has rebuttals about your new ranking, you are all dismissed.” He lifted his chin up, attentive once again to any new statements, or perhaps, for new potential members who may have approached to introduce themselves. Actions and thoughts and "Words."
