on the real, you shoulda never lied
The hopeless romantic he was, yet he found it hard to get with Dwyn. She was . . . traumatized from her time with Tarben it seemed, and he understood. He more so didn't want to overstep, so perhaps for the time being he could find his earge met elsewhere. Surely they would be fine, after all they weren't committed to each other yet. This he knew, so eyeing up the other women of Amaya was what he'd do for the time being. His emerald gaze went to another from time to time, she was sheepish and shy since he first met her at the original meeting. Evergreen. Her name was all too familiar, almost like the first girl he had slept with in these lands nearly a year ago. Or had it been longer? He hadn't heard from her, though rumors of more tiger-like wolves made him wonder if he had more children out there. Honestly, he loved the thrill. The possibility of giving females children.
His attempts at romancing her were falling on deaf ears, though he didn't want her just for a night like the others he'd sleep with. He sighed, rolling around in his den. His alphas call was nearby, the clearing just a ways away from his den. The hunter carefully moved towards the clearing, stepping on slippery rocks from the misty falls before leaping down to the grass area. He curled his tail around his paws, making sure to sit near the light colored butterfly maiden he enjoyed so much. A smile fixated on his jaws. He was content with her, though this dry spell would hopefully give soon. His eyes looked to Evergreen if she was there for a quick glance, before he eventually heard Crowe speak.
He nearly tuned out, thinking over his options as his eyes stayed on his soulmate tie, that was until his eyes connected with Crowes.”Evergreen, I would like to make you Zeta. I can imagine more pups will be born here soon - and they will need someone to corral them as Echo, Narcissus, and I are out and about more.” He gave a sheepish grin, he was hopeful too. For once, he wanted to be around for children with Dwyn. Though perhaps it was a good thing, fathering children he didn't have anything to do with is how he got this mindset. But he felt the need to sleep with someone still . . . ”Dwyn, as a new member of Amaya, you are placed at Sigma. I’m sure Uzi explained the desirability rule at the border, but as a brief reminder, your rank in most cases will represent your desirability and likeableness amongst the pack. And Uzi- And Uzi – I’m happy to say I want you as my Delta." He gave a smile, bowing his head. "Thank you, Alpha Crowe." He said, grateful for the new ranking.
His emeralds watched the three new wolves coming in, his eyes set on the flowery woman. She was beautiful, but he wasn't about to try his luck with another poor woman traumatized by war and packs. Dwyn was more than enough, but he simply wanted to find himself with her for once. He gave a silent sigh, his eyes looking back to the Alphas as they spoke and carried out conversation with the new wolves. He was going back into his own thoughts of the situations at hand.
