Narcissus had felt so on top of the world after he was able to sleep with Echo, knowing it was likely his children that she carried around as she ruled with Crowe, given the pitch alpha seemed to have little interest in his soul mate as of late. No one expected her to become sick, however, and die after giving birth to their, that is, Narcissus and Echo’s children. He felt as if he caused it. Guilt overcame him every day since Echo’s passing as he tried to manage the pups on his own, despite Echo asking Crowe to take care of them. Crowe stayed asleep in some long slumber, mourning. Narcissus knew he would never understand that level of connection, given that they were soulmates, but Narcissus did not even have a strand, nor did he ever. But he couldn’t think too much about it, he had some whimpering pups to take care of; Hades, Xylia, Althea, Dorian, Calypso, and Perseus. Thing was, he knew nothing. Narcissus didn’t know what to do. So, he did what any father in distress would do, and went to the closest female to him for help. Conveniently, it was Margaery. He still wanted to be lusted over by her, but the whimpering pups made it hard to think about that. The kalak hoped she would be able to help them calm down, and maybe himself too. Narcissus jogged over to her den, calling into it, hoping she was in there and awake. ”Margaery? Are you in there?” He spoke semi-hurriedly, his ears pinned back listening carefully for any odd noises from his den. ”I could really use your help. Meet me at my den.” The kalak didn’t realize that the words he spoke before jogging back to his den could be taken so out of context…he hoped that his tone definitely did not give that off. He dipped into his small den with the small pups, nuzzling them in an attempt to give them solace, but nothing was working. Actions and thoughts and "Words."
