Ash upon ash, light hued paws tainted with the darkened dirt and years-old settled ashes, walked among the seemingly ever burning woodlands. The bodice of these paws was colored in the same manner of the earth here – darkened with gray ashes and coarse dirt in addition to the red clays scattered among the area. This alongside the lanky overall bodice of the male made him almost appear to blend in. However, wings like those of a red-tailed hawk donned his back that although they had similar coloring too, the feathers appeared to be moulting. A brown and white feather, speckled with gray and red hues, fell from his right wing as he walked. Had the wind not blown away the prior feather, it could be determined that he was losing a feather every half-mile. Damn the curse laid on him by that witch. Icarus typically was in a depressed state, thus preventing him from engaging in self-care, particularly the mental health kind. He lacked the motivation, the energy to do so, despite walking almost endlessly with no destination in mind. However, as his golden eyes scanned the surrounding environment, he concluded that this may be the best home for him. Aside from his wings, he did not stick out. That’s all he wanted. If he did die or lose all of the feathers off his wings, he did not want to be in the presence of others. Times as of late seemed dark for Icarus, and all he wanted to do was get away from this. But to no avail – it seemed to follow him no matter how far he traveled away from his homeland. Peering into the burnt trees, some on their last limbs, he found a rather secluded area of burnt trees, stumps, and logs. His legs pivoted roughly 45 degrees and he headed towards the more dense portion of ashen trees. After about 500 feet, the ashy speckled, lanky body dropped as his light-hued legs gave out. The male had been walking for what seemed like forever. His body was tired, and the male was running on little sleep as the recent nightmares and sub-par sleeping conditions had prevented him from getting quality rest and recovery in energy. He prayed for no one to come across him - maybe he could die in peace and not have to suffer anymore. Actions & Words.
