The crimson, leather, chocolate, and white clad male flew outside of Sabertooth shortly after he was done speaking with Derevko. Well, it was more like when she was done speaking with him. The lamprydae lass seemed to want nothing to do with him, even though the prince felt a pull thanks to the tie. However, she had remained pretty stone-faced, regardless of whatever quips he made, that frankly, he found casual, with a little bit of flirty undertones. When she eventually wandered off, Aeolus needed to get away from her scent that lingered. Not for hate reasons, as that fated line still lingered on his chest, but for…impulse reasons. Now, he wasn’t the type to lay with whoever he wanted, as he had yet to mate with someone, but Aeolus felt more of a push now since all the little babies were born in Sabertooth. He wanted his own children, proper children, since he had just discovered his soulmate was a fellow member of Sabertooth. No tense relations like Hermes, and eventually, the pack as a whole, would have to deal with. The aves male wasn’t dense. He knew that war was likely to come, as soon as that prince of Tarben got wind that two pups from his brother’s princess looked like children of the infamous dane bloodline. Aeolus huffed in annoyance at the thought, rolling his eyes. Why let that bother him? Not like the troublemaker was likely to become- no. The aves prince of Sabertooth stopped his train of thought there. He did not need to fuss. No, what Aeolus found a little more pressing was that he swore he saw Lazarus when greeting that new, malnourished wolf at the border. Did he spontaneously gain the ability to see spirits, just as the now deceased theta had, or even Artemis, the beta, had? He landed gently in Ashen Woodlands, his steely eyes scanned the several times burned landscape, but did not notice any apparitions. He sighed, making his way over to a burnt husk of a tree, sitting. Maybe it was because it was daytime that they weren’t out? It was cliché, but it could be a possibility. Aeolus also pondered that maybe he could only see spirits that wanted to be seen by him? That could explain how he thought he saw Lazarus – she knew him. As Aeolus sat, still observing the landscape, he wondered if he would get company. Female company, preferably, though he likely wouldn’t act on it so carelessly like his brother had. That “itch” from his time with Derevko drove him crazy. Actions and thoughts and "Words."
