The firefly's body tightened as the red male let out a short scream, a small grin on her face as she held in a laugh. Her question rang out still, asking if he was okay and giving him her name. His gaze stayed on her for a while, but instead went elsewhere to something she could not see. ”My ‘eart may ‘ave stopped for a second there, but not only cause of the good scare tch’ya gave me.” His accent was interesting, her smile parted to giggle at his words. She honestly did not mean to scare him, though with rumors of spirits and monsters in these words she would have been scared too. "I'm sorry, I truly didn't mean to startle you." She spoke when her giggle ended. ”It’s nice to meet tch’ya, Nyx. I’m Aeolus. I’m from Sabertooth just over yonder.”
"It's nice to meet you too, Aeolus." Her blue glowing gaze looked to meet the area of Sabertooth, so this was a pack dweller. Her attention was kept on him still, though her guard was visibly down. She felt she could trust him thus far, after all, what stranger goes and gives their home location away if they're not genuine? Her sapphires looked back to him, he seemed deep into his thoughts. A sigh escaped his maw, and drew her a couple steps closer to him. ”What about tch’ya? Why are tch’ya out ‘ere?” His eyes attempted to meet hers, but she couldn't help but feel as if his mind was occupied elsewhere. Something she would have to change.
She put on a charming smile, cocking her head to the side. "Well, I don't have a pack to call home. I'm more of a nomad." She started. "I was originally a Lamprydae, but I gained Voodoo in one of the last meteor falls. Most don't pay me mind, though I can calm those I get close to because of my Lamprydae." She said, her last couple of words trailing as she slowly moved a little closer. "You seem tense about something, maybe I can help." She said with a grin, attempting to keep eye contact.
