"Come with me, dear. We'll get out of this rain." He spoke before meeting her at the hip to walk her in the direction of shelter. She sparked a small conversation to get to know him, her audits waited patiently for his answers to her questions. "Well, when my father brought up that we were now part of an arrangement.. I was shocked. Helius took it better than I did. But I know better than to go against my fathers words. He's given us everything we could have ever dreamed of. If he thinks this is best, then it is." Her violet orbs flicked to meet his briefly. So he wasn't too happy with the idea either. She let out a soft chuckle, her tail swishing behind her elegantly.
"I know we're in a competition with our cousins, Phobus and Deimus. I'm not sure who you'll be meeting from there.. But be careful. I've heard they're trouble. However, I'm more favorable towards Deimus. He seems to be the more gentler of those twins." Once again her eyes flicked to him, stun visible on her face as he spoke of the other set of twins. That meant that she was paired with the good one . . . And poor, innocent Wisteria had the less gentle one. Her breath caught in her throat, though she knew too well that if he harmed a hair on her head it wouldn't just be her he had to worry about.
He motioned for her to enter the cave they had come up on, her smaller frame entered and she shook out her soaked pelt. She had little interest in grooming herself like this, especially in front of the Prince. Instead she would ignore how she looked and listen, sitting in front of him as he had motioned. "Helius and I have different stories on how we ended up here. I know that father had begun our journey when we were young. Our aunt, Themis, had gone before we had. Father said that he was trying to get away from Chalith, our grandfather.. who wasn't a great guy. Themis had been getting away from him too. I didn't know our mother, she passed during childbirth. But we wandered for a long time back in our old home, where father taught us how to fight, how to survive. When we came here, He decided to start up a pack. Dawnshire. He reconnected with our Aunt at the arrangement meeting. Turns out he didn't even know she was here. And her sons are here now.. Sorry for rambling. How did you get here? And.. whats your own take on this arrangement? After all, you're the one deciding who to marry."
" I wasn't happy either with the idea, but my worry was more so for my sister. She didn't take to sparring like I did, she was more peaceful. Though peace doesn't equal weakness, she's also very naive." She said, her voice strong as she tried to mask the feeling of fear for her twin. "Our father also brought us here, our mother was killed by his Alpha after we were born. She was seen as a distraction from the war. So our father did what he thought best and killed his Alpha, and then took us away to find somewhere to call home. We ended up here not too long after, and he reconnected with his brother Damian, only then learning he was an uncle to a Queen." She said, her head raised high still in alert. She didn't know what a relaxed posture was.
Her eyes again set to meet his, and it felt . . . Strange. Behind the want to ask about this Princes cousin Phobus, she felt all she had on her mind was Demius. "If I may speak out of turn, why do you loathe Phobus? He's paired with my sister, and I only wish for her safety in all of this. I trust Demius, but I do not trust this Phobus by the way you're making him sound . . . What has he done?" She asked, her eyes turning to the rocky ground. "If I am being honest, Demius captured my heart. That makes me feel sick to say, as I've never had any romantic feelings. I'm very sorry if this is a waste of your time, but I must insist you tell me about Phobus so I might catch him in time before he hurts my sister - And starts a war I fear I'd lose Demius to as well."
