The Gemini had felt like despite the war, Dawnshire had made it out easy. They had lost a couple faces, but none that she knew terribly well. She felt at ease with that information. Though her interests peaked in the new woman also of black and white. A newcomer who was placed on the frontline, alongside herself, Paeeon, Helius, and Kratos himself? Had he taken a new mate? She wondered if Paeeon knew. Either way, it wasn't much of her business. She was much more worried about how horrible she felt after the war. She was scared, she could have lost her life, or Paeeon. She still put on a brave face, but she was still having nightmares of the sights she saw. Thank the Gods Lucaya had put an end to the bloodshed with a truce, but for how long?
She sighed, the thought of the apparent very fertile Beta couple came to mind. Thankfully, she had missed the war. What could have happened to those children or her would have been horrible to think about, same for Helius had he fallen in combat. She would have seven pups with no father. She felt pity for thinking such a thought, though she was grateful that was not the case. Wisteria had seen enough pain. She was happy they had the children they did, but something washed over the Gemini. Jealousy? She sighed, she wanted children. She used to hate the thought, but she also never thought she'd find a mate and settle down. Her and Paeeon had been going steady for quite some time . . .
The Gemini wanted to bring it up, but how could she? It was a lifelong commitment, and she felt fearful of being vulnerable enough to ask. What if he said no? It was quite amusing, with how confident she was she was worried about being shut down by her mate. Speaking of . . . His call rang through to her, she was sunbathing in the warm weather while she could on a ledge. A soft smile fell on her jaws, as she rose to her feet and began running home to her beloved. He held her heart, but she didn't want to overstep. Perhaps she could bring it up while they were together today. She slowed to a walk as she neared their den, a smile still present on her face. "You called, my dear? What's troubling you?"
Walk, "Talk", Think.
"What a waste."
