As the Delta waited for his girl’s arrival, he couldn’t help but feel anxious. What if she hadn’t wanted children? What if she would scoff and tell him that he was crazy? Was it really crazy though, seeing Helius and Wisteria so happy with theirs? Kratos had raised them well, raised them to treat women with respect and dignity. So instead of just having a night filled with fun with the possibility of pregnancy, Paeeon wanted to actually try with Luna. And all he could hope for was that she wanted the same thing. They’d been together forever now, yet no talk of what their future could hold. The pack had been busy lately. New faces were showing up again and again, yet he felt as if the pack needed more members. More true members. Dawnshire through and through. He knew Luna and himself could give that to the pack, but also fulfilling something that they both hopefully both wanted. As the woman arrived, he caught a glimpse of her loving smile which caused his anxiety to melt away. She loved him and he loved her. A smile crossed his lips as he stood, greeting her with a gentle lick upon her cheek. “You called my dear? What’s troubling you?” She asked, and he could hear the slight worry in her voice. He shook his head, giving a soft chuckle. He was stupid for feeling so worried, so anxious. Whatever her answer was, he was just happy that they were together, still alive after the war, and in love. “Nothing’s troubling me, my love. I’ve just got a question for you.” He told her softly, sitting beside her and inviting her to do the same. He gently pressed against her, resting his head atop of hers as he gazed out over the Dawnshire territory. Maybe he would never be alpha of the lands, that would go to Helius and Wisteria. Understandable. But he would always have the love of his life right next to him. “We’ve been together for a long time now. I know we’ve never had the conversation of our possible future here together. We’ve had a busy time as of late due to the war.” He spoke softly, as if not to startle her away from the conversation. “But I have been thinking. I’ve seen Helius with his children, how Wisteria cares for them. Not to say I’ve become jealous of my brother - not at all. I’ve just been thinking.. Would you ever be interested in having a family together? If you don’t that’s okay. But I think you would make an excellent mother. Plus, our children would be pretty damn cute.” He chuckled at the end of his sentence, pulling his head back and hoping to catch her eye. She would always hold her emotion there. “What do you think, my love?”
