Today was the day. Her son was getting married. She honestly couldn't believe it. Deimus had grown so much over just the last month or so, becoming a more upstanding member of the pack. He took responsibility, he understood right from wrong. She had spoken to Mabbit on this, how proud she was of Deimus becoming.. better. As the Mother to the Groom, Themis wasn't sure what her role would be in the weddings, other than just being there as Queen of Amberbjorne. "Mabbit! Are you almost ready to go?" She called over to her King, who happened to be getting ready as well. Soon enough, they'd be in the Hawthorne lands. The Queen ran her tongue down her shifting yellow-orange chest, knowing clouds were running through her fur today. Her suns were brighter than usual, showing her excitement for her son. She figured both of the boys were already in Hawthorne, and that Dawnshire would be there soon as well. Padding over to her mate, she gently nosed his neck. "We'd better get going, I don't want to be late for Deimus' big day." a soft laugh left her lips before she slipped out of the den, side by side with her mate.
The Journey to Hawthorne wasn't as bad as she expected. It only took a bit, and as the couple walked they made a bit of small talk. "Deimus seemed excited this morning - I'm proud of him for finding a wife that suits him. Pretty ironic he was against this in the first place." she chuckled, leaning closer to Mabbit as they entered the Hawthorne kingdom. The land was surprisingly beautiful - for a Kingdom crawling with vampires. The sun beamed through the trees, causing speckles of light to fall down on her horned mate and herself. When they reached the clearing, she noticed that Deimus was already sitting up front, looking nervous. How sweet. She bowed her head to Queen Lucaya, giving her a gentle smile.
"Queen Lucaya. It's good to see you. Thank you for allowing these weddings to take place on Hawthorne's Kingdom. It's been stressful planning everything, but I'm glad the day is here. I'm sure the girls are too, huh?" the Queen of Amberbjorne laughed softly, glancing at Mabbit, searching for his crimson gaze. Lovingly, she nudged his side before she slipped away, padding up to her son. "I'm proud of you, Deimus. You'll do great today." she murmured to him, before taking her place in the front, assuming her mate would come sit at her side. She wondered where Kratos and his boys were, wondering if they'd be showing up soon. She assumed so. Her attention was drawn to her other son, darkened in the corner of the clearing. A bit of anger surged through her, upset that he didn't even want to support his brother on the biggest day of Deimus' life. Why can't be be happy? she thought, fur bristling slightly before she smoothed it down. Instinctivly, she looked at Mabbit. "Phobus is here. He doesn't look happy. Can you help keep an eye on him, please? I don't want anything ruining today.." she murmured softly to her King, trying to keep her voice down so Lucaya and Deimus wouldn't hear her.
