His heart began to flutter in his chest - excitement was filling every second. He felt as if his heart was about to explode. Helius couldn't wait to see those girls waltzing down the isle with their father. "That is all I could ever ask for for my family, and I'm sure I'm turn she feels the same for you." The words that Lucaya spoke to him, he took to heart. He knew that she was proud to be the aunt to such wonderful girls. She would be happy that they'd be marrying into such wonderful families. Deimus looked excited - as if he were about to pop from excitement too. He couldn't believe that today was finally the day, the day he would be marrying the love of his life.
Helius noted that his brother arrived with Luna, and he gave a large grin. Those two would make an amazing pair - hopefully they were to wed soon. Helius liked Luna - she fit Paeeon well. Helius couldn't wait to be there for his brother when he had the happiest day of his life as well.
Waiting was the worst part. Waiting to see those girls walk down the aisle to him. Well, to him and Deimus. When they did begin to waltz with their father, making their way down to the Husbands-to-be, Helius was entrapped in a rush of emotions. He raised his body from sitting to standing, gazing down at Wisteria. He felt himself beginning to tear up at the sight of his lover. She looked gorgeous, a beautiful array of flowers dangling from her neck. The best part was, she looked excited to be coming down towards him. When they parted ways with their father, Helius gave Vladimir a gentle nod, thanking him silently for all he'd done with raising the girls, and allowing him to have this moment to marry his daughter. He noted that there were a few hushed words spoken from Vlad to his Uncle and Aunt, but he paid little to no mind of it. Instead, he greeted her softly, choking back a few tears. "You look so handsome." she murmured to him, love filling her voice to the brim. Helius hadn't been able to stop smiling. "My dear, you look gorgeous.." He whispered back, pressing himself against her before looking up at Lucaya. The weddings were about to begin.
"I would like to thank you all for coming to my home, I hope you find it's doors are always open if you are in need. We are gathered here today, not just for the union of Amberbjorne, Hawthorne and Dawnshire - But for the very special day of union between Helius and Wisteria, and between Demius and Yesimire. We are gathered to celebrate their love, and join them as they become husband and wife." The Queen of Hawthorne spoke out to the crowd, and Helius glanced over at Wisteria. The Prince couldn't keep his eyes off of her. "May love and laughter light your days, and warm your hearts and homes. May good and faithful friends be yours wherever you may roam. May peace and plenty bless your world with joy that long endures. May all life's passing seasons bring the best to you and yours. You have all of Hawthornes blessings, including mine and my dear husband Nibris'. I hope your wedding night tonight is filled with love, as there is no better bond than that of blood." Lucaya spoke to them, gazing down with her crimsons, happiness filling her rubies. "Now please, repeat after me in unison. Do you, grooms, take your brides to be, to be your wedded wives from this day forward, I'm sickness and in health, until death do you part?"
Helius turned to look at his bride, giving her a gentle smile. "I do. Wisteria.. the moment I laid eyes on you, I knew you were the one. The one I'd spend the rest of my life with. The one I couldn't wait to wake up every morning too. You knew it from the start - I wasn't a man much of titles. But d a m n, does being a Princess look good on you. I hope you'll love it in Dawnshire, living with me and my family. I'll make sure you want for nothing, I'll protect you until my dying breath. I love you, Wisteria." The Prince felt his throat tightening, as if he were about to let out a sob. But he held it back, out of fear that Wisteria would think less of him. However, he couldn't help but allow a few tears to be shed. "And do you, brides to be, take your grooms, to be your wedded husband's from this day forward, in sickness and in health, until death do you part?" Lucaya spoke to the Brides, and Helius listened happily to Wisteria giving her answer.
"Then I pronounce you, Demius and Yesimire, Helius and Wisteria, husband and wife. You may kiss your brides." The Queen spoke, and Helius grinned and pulled Wisteria close to him, giving her a gently lick over her muzzle. "This day has been everything I could have asked for.." He murmured gently as he rubbed his cheek against hers. He turned, allowing their bodies to press together as Lucaya showered them with various flower petals from where she sat upon the rock. He immediately looked towards his brother, who was gazing happily and cheering from the crowd. Kratos was as well. Themis and Mabbit would be cheering for Deimus and Yesimire, which he understood. The only one who wasn't.. was Phobus. That man. Why did he even come? Instead of getting angry about it, Helius tried to keep it out of his head. He'd find him later and talk with him. Hopefully there were no hard feelings.
The Prince took another look at his now wife, beaming at her. "I love you so much, Wisteria."
