The womans lands had been eerily quiet since they’d put away Phobus. The monster would hopefully rot in the hillside that Hawthorne had banished him too. Thankfully, things had begun to look up in Amberbjorne. At the last pack meeting, there had been many new faces that had decided to join their ranks, and Amberbjorne was happy to take them. The little pup in particular - Khas - had grown into a fine young man under her and her Husbands watch. Her step-daughters, Valkyrie and Aya, both had become fine young women in her pack. She was thankful for such a wonderful family. Deimus and Yesimire were training up the new Sigmas, and she could hopefully expect grandchildren in the coming months. Would they be having children? Surely - the way that they looked at one another, it was hard to think they wouldn’t. As the woman perched upon the rock, overlooking her territory, she let out a sigh of relief. Things were starting to get better since Phobus had almost ruined their reputation. Her pack was becoming whole, her life was getting good again. But just as she was thinking about this, the call of Lucaya from Hawthorne shattered her dreams on the subject. It sounded urgent, and Themis immediately thought of the worst possibility. Phobus had gotten out, escaped, or whatever the monster could do. The Queen felt her heart begin to race at the thought, and immediately she called for her own pack to gather so they could head over to Hawthorne’s territory. The ones who answered her call were quick, and the others she knew would be quick to follow. Onai, Xolmin, Khas, and herself stood in the pack grounds. As she waited, Deimus hurried over, a worried expression on his face. She knew he understood the means of this trip to Hawthorne. To learn the fate of his god-forsaken brother. She knew the rest would catch up, and her own heart began to flutter with anxiety. Luckily, Deimus was by her side to make sure she wouldn’t overwhelm herself. As they reached the Hawthorne territory, they made their way to the meeting. Upon seeing Lucaya angrily staring down at her pack, as well as her husband by her side, she raised her crown and greeted the reigning pair, her golden orbs flashing with worry. “Lucaya, Nibris. It’s nice to see you both. Not under these circumstances, but.. Nonetheless. Your children have grown into fine young men and women, its good to see Hawthorne growing in numbers.” She attempted, but wanted to cut to the chase immediately. Her pack had dispersed to sit where they needed, Deimus still by her side. She hoped Mabbit would be on his way soon. “He’s gone, isn’t he? He’s escaped.” She murmured, just loud enough for those who needed to hear did. “That son of a bitch. He should have been killed on the spot.” She muttered to Deimus, taking a seat with him by her side.
