The Queen was awfully sick of the silence that hung over Hawthorne. She sighed, no new faces, no news. Nothing here was eventful, not since her brother came running in with a child, her niece. The lovely little thing. Then they had the strange encounter of finding another family member, a cousin. Daenerys was her name, supposedly a distant relative of her fathers. Little did she know her giant family was about to grow bigger. News of new nieces and nephews from Drevis and Wendigo made her happy, Wendigo, though a soldier for the Dane King, seemed like a good fit for Drevis. But she still had yet to meet the man who was tied to her daughter, Lahmer.
Well, perhaps tonight was the night. Lahmers call rang clear into Hawthorne, the Vampire Queen grinned and ran out of her den towards her daughter. The starlit Princess was not alone, however. The smell of another ran through her nares, of course setting her on guard for a moment before she came into view. Three little ones down at her paws made the Queen nearly skip to her daughter. “Lahmer, my sweet girl! Did you make me a grandmother?!” She said excitedly, her tail wagging as her front limbs lowered her face to the ground to see them better. “Hello, my little grandbabies ~ I am your Nana.” She spoke softly.
One of the little girls cocked her head at her. “You look like father.” A small chuckle left the Queen's mouth. “What are all of your names?” She asked softly, to which the little green scaled pup swayed back and forth nervously. “Vhagar.” She looked to the other two, hearing them and responding if she needed too. Her attention then turned to her own daughter. She seemed saddened, had she been crying. “Lahmer, what’s wrong?” She asked, worry filling her face. “Where is your mate?”
"Another trick to treat, with candy apple dreams . . ."
