Rayne was just about to lunge forward, end her suffering-but a large force tackled her away. She yelped in fear and fury-Bastian, that f u c ker, had he followed her-and then she realized she hadn't seen this wolf before, although he did look a lot like Bastian. She stared into his blue eyes, momentarily speechless, and then the panic and fear and desperation and loneliness and anger came flooding in along with his questions.
within the sound, of silence
Leave me alone! Get off me! Her voice rose to a crescendo. Off! Get away! It's none of your business! she sobbed, spiraling into a panic attack of epic proportions. I'm sorry, I'm sorry! I didn't mean to trespass! Let me up, I'll get out! Just GET OFF ME! Rayne realized this was probably the brother Bastian had talked about. The one who would apparently have killed her. Well she'd be d a m ned if she ever got involved with any of his family again! Rayne had had her heart shattered by her 'love'! And now, this idiot had interfered in her amazing plan to rid herself of, well, herself! She snarled, biting at his paws angrily, violently, trying to make him get off her. She snapped at his face next. Anger and grief had made Rayne reckless.
