Where was she? Where was her father? The cream colored femme felt her eyes darting around, but all she could see was darkness. This wasn't the comfort of her den back home anymore. This was some strange land, one she didn't know. She couldn't scent her fathers musk any longer. He was gone. He left her. Was he like Fantine? Did he pass away too? Was she all alone again? The last time she was, or at least felt like she was, she was living with the Thénardiers. They were cruel to her, treating her like some sort of peasent while at the same time, they treated their real daughter like a Princess. They were supposed to take care of her, but they had cast her to the side.. Until Valjean saved her. Became a papa to her. Treated her like his own daughter, for the sake of Fantine. Her mother had tragically passed due to an illness. Cosette wanted nothing more than to see her mother again, and hopefully her father. Valjean would be worried about her if she weren't in their den. He kept her safe all these years.. now she was all alone. The girl peeled open her eyes at the sound of a call, echoing from the trees above her. Someone calling for those who needed a home. In these strange lands, Cosette didn't know if she were to be able to make it on her own. After war decided to ravage through her last home and those boys trying to keep those who needed it safe, she felt like she needed protection. What if that were to happen again, to these lands? She would need some form of a home to keep her safe. The madam climbed up from her spot on the ground, shaking off the dust and grass that clung to her tan fur, attempting to clean herself up for meeting the King of this new pack. Rolling in some nearby flowers, she made her way to the area where the call had come from. Upon arriving to the scene, she noticed many wolves in the clearing. She had a moment to sweep her eyes over everyone, before looking up at the King of the pack. "I'm Cosette. I'm seeking home.. I've just arrived in these lands and.. I'm a bit lost." the girl spoke softly, looking towards the ground awkwardly. Was she making a fool of herself? She didn't want that. Valjean had taught her to do good unto others, to make those less fortunate than them, more fortunate. How she missed her father.. The lady looked up again, this time her eyes landing on a male nearby. Her eyes caught onto his for a moment, before she looked away quickly. Instead, she focused on the male and female, she was sky painted, beautiful.. and he had wings. They seemed like they were together. Was she the Queen? If so, she wondered how she got her pelt like that. Were these lands that magical? Why had they chosen her to arrive here? Cosette didn't know. But the pair looked so comfortable together.. she hadn't had much interaction with men, other than her father and Thénardier. Though, Thénardier didn't have the best reputation as a man - a conman, was what he was. She hoped she never saw him again. Taking a second, she looked back up at the male she had made eye contact with, having overheard him introduce himself before she had said her piece. Marius. His name sounded French, like hers. Were they from the same world? Valjean had kept her sheltered. Maybe.. maybe she'd be able to ask him about it. The girl found herself moving over towards him, keeping her distance a bit. Gently, she cleared her throat. "Excuse me, Marius?" she softly spoke, keeping her voice down as to not bother the rest of the crowd. "Your name, it's French right? I.. I couldn't help but notice." the girl murmured, taking a glance up at the pair who were running the meeting. "Have you been here, in these lands, long?"
