He was enamored by the sky painted lass in front of him – the one whom he had fallen in love with a thousand times over in the past few months. As he stepped back from his physical greeting with Pandora, she spoke. ”I…I didn’t know you’d rank me beside you.” her words were reason for Achilles to cock his crimson and leather cranium to the side, but he spoke to apologize about the sudden ranking. He then continued into his “proposal”, as humans might call it. As he rose from his bow, the excitement he observed in Pandora was unmeasurable as her white tail wagged fast and a big smile on her face, tears forming. Her words reflected this appearance, happiness and excitement laced in them. ”Yes, Achilles! A thousand times yes!” Achilles knew that these were happy tears coming from his sky-painted lover. Her pelt began to match that of a bright sunny day. It was a nice, warming sight for sure. He stepped forward just as she did, but thankfully, he stopped to prevent an collision. He felt her cranium nuzzle against his chest. The crimson and leather clad male felt his heart speed up, and surely, Pandora would hear his heart beating wildly. Her words only sped his heart up more. ”I am yours and you are mine.” Achilles’s mouth curled into a smile, and before speaking himself, he took a big breath, and upon the exhale, he nuzzled back into his lover. ”Forever and always.” He spoke softly, his bass tones slow in order to annunciate clearly. His steely eyes watched as she stepped back and met her own cyan eyes. Those beautiful eyes. There was a certain sparkle in hers, and of course, that sparkle was in his own, but in this case, the navy band in his eyes appearing much bigger than normal. The silence was nice. For a few moments, he soaked in the moment. It was one he was going to remember, for sure. That little voice in his head, Paris? No sign of him whatsoever. Perhaps the alter gave up? The comfortable silence, the loving stares, were broken by Pandora’s next words. ”Achilles, my love…I want us to start a family.” Achilles’s eyes widened, his ears which were already oriented forward flicking as he processed her words. Children? Where did this come from? He skimmed through his memories with Pandora…and it was at the Elder Tree that he had mentioned that those who love each other have pups. A small smile rose to his lips, along with a small blush to his cheeks. He was just thinking of this earlier, little sky babies. Those with matching pelts to that of their mother, and wings like their father. His chocolate dipped tail began to wave softly. ”I would like that, my love.” He gave a toothy grin, his eyes looking between his den and Pandora. He motioned his head towards his den, looking to Pandora with eagerness. If she did not quite get what his body language was portraying, that is, for her to walk first, after a few moments, Achilles would walk to his den, which surely at this point Pandora would follow. Nonetheless, he knew Pandora would follow. How soon after it would be, that is, could vary. But he hoped she was as eager as him. But respectfully, he gave time for her to give any additional comments or questions. When she was finished, he spoke, a tinge of concern filling his voice. ”Are tch’ya sure you’re ready?” He cocked his head, attempting to look into her cyan eyes as he stood to face her. If Pandora decided now that she was scared and wanted to opt out, Achilles would understand. Parenthood was scary, even more so for her since she would be carrying their pups. He’d approach her side and sit next to her to nuzzle her and comfort her. If Pandora was sure and still wanted to move forward with creating a family of their own, Achilles would give his toothy grin and surely a certain sparkle in his eyes as he would make his way down his love’s side, brushing his body against hers. ”I love you, Pandra.” He would speak, his bass tones hopefully feeling like music to his love’s ears, as he would mount her. -fade out, fade in- Provided that Pandora consented and the mating did happen, Achilles would get off slowly, feeling the muscles in his back legs a little strained. If his wound in his leg would not have healed as fast as it did, thanks to his wings, their mating likely would not have happened. Or, it would have been very difficult for him. Nonetheless, he would slowly walk around, lick his lover’s cheek as a sign of affection, before stepping backwards to give himself enough space to stretch. As he did stretches, he joked. ”These joints aren’t as bad as they used t’be.” He chuckled, finishing his stretches and he would approach Pandora’s side once more, in which he would copy whatever position his lover was in, whether that be standing, sitting, or laying down in his den.
