Her heart was racing alongside his as she rested her head on his chest. She was so happy. How she turned her life around, how he helped her do that. She was so hellbent on her own downfall in the beginning, having just run away from all she had known. A father who didn't care for her, a father who had vanished all together after saving her life, and a "soulmate" that was sent after her to continue the bloodline against her wishes. Yet now she stood, tall and happy with her mate. An Alphess alongside of him. She was overjoyed by his proposal, exclaiming with glee.
After she spoke to him again, she heard his heart speed up and his breath inhale. ”Forever and always.” As she looked back into his eyes once more, she noted the navy band in his eyes had grown. He was hers forever, and even more so he felt like home. She relished in the silence as she thought, and as she had found the right words she finally spoke them. Spoke of wanting to start a family with him. Surely she was unsure of how to be a mother, but she knew she would be much better than her own mother - And Achilles wouldn't leave the children like she was left.
She waited for his response, his eyes had widened. ”I would like that, my love.” She felt her heart begin to beat rapidly again, a large smile crossing her face. He motioned to his den, her smile still pulling at her lips as she waltzed in front of him happily to his den. As she slipped into his den, and he shortly after followed. She didn't know what to say, this would be her first time with anyone but she was glad it was with him. ”Are tch’ya sure you’re ready?” She smiled at him, nodding. "Yes, my love." She said softly, thinking of just what they'd create. Beautiful sons and daughters with wings or sky pelts . . .
His body brushed along hers, sending chills up her spine as she smiled. Her nares inhaled his scent, loving every moment. ”I love you, Pandra.” She smiled at him, her arctic blues looking to find his steel and navy orbs. She loved everything about this man. How he spoke her name, how he smelled, how he presented himself. "I love you too, Achilles." She spoke softly.
Fade in, fade out . . .
She felt her breathing regulate as her lover slowly dismounted her. She rose to a sitting position, a smile on her face as Achilles slowly came to her and licked her cheek. She watched as he moved to stretch his leg out, her head cocking to the side a bit realizing it was his bad leg. ”These joints aren’t as bad as they used t’be.” She giggled with him, hoping he wasn't in pain. She didn't want to question him and make him feel some sort of way about it, so instead she let a soft pause happen as she laid on the ground. "We should think of some names, my love." She said with a smile as she looked up to him.
