She had only been here a couple of weeks and she was already about to burst. Her stomach had grown so large, she was fearful of walking to far. That she'd go into labor any moment. The size of her stomach worried her, were they Hermes, or Odins? She grew fearful, if any were not Hermes, would he accept them? Would he still love her? She was only doing what she needed to do to survive out there. Her eyes went to the pink strand that still connected her to Odin, she clawed at it without breaking it. She only worried for her childrens sake, if any were his, what he would do if she broke the tie. She didn't have much time to find out, as contractions ripped through her body.
The Lady yelled out in pain, gasping with the contractions. Her head whipped to the entrance of the den her and Hermes shared. "Hermes, my love! They're coming!!" She called in between groans, hoping he'd make it in time.
Fade in, fade out . . .
The Lady's breathing was returning to normal, as the birth of her children seemed like it would never end. She lifted her head to look at them all, a smile on her face until she saw the two who didn't fit the bunch. Her heart sank as she looked at them, if Hermes was present she'd be too stunned to speak for a few moments. They looked like Odin. The rest matched her and Hermes. Two who looked just like her, girls, one who looked like her with wings, a boy, and a boy and a girl clone of Hermes. But those two . . . Tears welled in her eyes as she finally brought her violets to meet Hermes pinks. "I-I-I . . ." She stammered. "I'm so sorry, Hermes . . . I had to let him do what he wished, I was so scared. I'm so sorry." She broke into a sob, terrified of being exiled and denied by another man she loved.
