The grey-and-tan lady met the weakened intruder with indignance and shock. “Hey! Who are you!? What are you doing uninvited in Sabertooth?” But when Clarette took a closer look, she could clearly see that the male wolf was dehydrated and starving. “Oh, my.” Clarette’s first instinct was to call for King Aeolus or one of his siblings, but she didn’t know how they would react, since he was trespassing. She couldn’t run to fetch her parents, either, since they were dead, both of them. Dead when she was young. She had been an orphan most of her life.
“I’m Clarette, sir; I am a member of Sabertooth. You’re trespassing - but given your condition, I’ll assume you didn’t know. That’s okay. Can you understand me?” The outgoing lady kept her cool.
