His mission was simple. Something that would take little effort to plan, something that would take him little time to complete. Yet, the monster wanted to drag it out as much as he could. This was the one time he was commanded by his Alpha to complete something as devilish as this. Phobus usually stuck to the shadows, keeping a close eye upon his mate. Eyre was ordinary, but he found her beautiful in her own way. He did plan on keeping her for his own games, wether that be for pups, or just someone to actually love him. His little brainwashing manipulative side was strong with her, doing his best to keep the illusion that he’s done no wrong, that she’d only heard awful rumors spread through jealousy. He knew he could keep up that illusion, unless someone reversed his hard work. Though, with Beartooth in charge, he was safe. For now. With his plan set in place, the man made sure he knew the scent of his victim well. Scenting out Sabertooths borders for days on end until he picked up the Princess’s smell. Scouting, attempting to establish a proper routine for the lass. The unsuspecting lady’s day to day experiences seemed to vary on pack needs, which he could understand. Though, on this day, when she ventured out of her lands into neutral territory, he trailed closely, yet silently behind. Though large, he made sure to keep the crunching of the snow under his massive paws to a minimum, stopping if he felt himself making too much noise. Yet, the lass didn’t know anything. His hell-red orbs were locked upon the lass as she freely romped through the snow, watching the birds around the lake, and staring into her own refection. Beartooths words rang in his ears as he tucked himself behind a tree, keeping to the shadows that the underbrush provided him. “A Princess. Kill her.” He didn’t want to disappoint his leader, someone he looked up too. The little butterfly seemed to stop at the bank of the lake, staring down and gazing into the reflections of everything that happened around her. His eyes narrowed as he knew this was his time. Emerging silently from the shadows, he snuck up behind her, his teeth bared but not growling yet. His nose was crinkled around the edges, audits pinned back on his monstrous head. As he grew closer, he flexed his claws in the crisp snow. Finally, he reached behind her and let himself be known by showing himself in the reflection of the lake. He then stood to his full height, towering over the lass, a low growl emitting from his darkend maw. “You are just the Princess I’ve been looking for.” He spat out, his fur standing on edge as he let his eyes roam her crystal blue body. Before she could react, he lunged. Phobus was able to quickly overpower the Princess, his rage fueled by all of those who had scorned him in the past. He’d been dying to let lose on someone, so when Beartooth approached him, he was immediately on board. His claws dug into her shoulders as he brought her down to the ground, his teeth latching onto her jugular and crunching down. The sweet taste of irony blood filled his maw, dripping down upon the fresh snow that laid beneath them. The lass didn’t have a chance. If she were to struggle, he’d only clamp down harder until she ceased breathing, blood pooling around his back ankles as his claws dug deeper into her shoulders. If her body were to grow limp in his grasp, no longer feeling a living breath underneath him, he’d slowly let go and spit the blood out of his mouth, his maw stained red from the Princess’s blood. “Goodnight Princess. I hope the sins of your family were worth it.” He muttered, ears still pinned back upon his head. Staring down upon his handiwork, a deep chuckle emitted from him, loving the adrenaline he felt coursing through his body. This wasn’t the only body he’d ever killed, nor would it ever be the last. He had a long line of those who he planned to reap revenge upon. And someday soon, they would know his true power. As the Monster turned to pad away, blood still lining his footsteps, he shook out his pelt and glanced back. His work was done, he felt proud. Now was his chance to report back to Beartooth, to tell him he had done his job. “Tell Shuu that Tarben says hello.”
