People often fail due diligence to take care of ANYTHING not theirs, as if it was.
Too easy come, too easy go.
Those raising the issue of spending now with Biden DIDN'T during or for Trump. Trump's budgets were TWICE the size of Biden's, and the GOP Congress added more. In four years they added more than $10 trillion to the US debt. When Biden took office, the deficit was a record $4.5 trillion. Biden's budgets added less than $5 trillion to the debt, and reduced the deficit to $1.2 trillion.
Obama added $9 trillion to the debt between 2009 and 2017. GOP cried foul all the way, every year, and especially 2009-10 when Obama's biggest budget stopped the recession induced by a combination of war expenses deliberately not added to the budget, record high oil and gas prices, and overvalued mortgage failure due to overvalued loans that initiated industry collapse.
The GOP hounded Clinton for irresponsible spending, compared with Reagan. Clinton and Congress worked to balance the budget, and refund $500 to every taxpayer; the Bush rebates with which his presidency began. But with the wars, by 2009 the debt flirted with $12 trillion. No GOP said a word about that tween 2001 and 2009.
Comer and Jordan continue to push on in the impeachment investigation of Biden, in spite of their witnesses spectacular failure to provide the evidence they wanted and said would be definitive.
When the House officially moved on, the silenced, shell shocked look on Comer's face spoke volumes. Jordan left the hearing, and in the lobby was swarmed with press to whom he fast talked about how oversight had more to do.
Do you ever get that look on your face? When confronted about spending, and suddenly the op knows enough to call an obvious bluff?
You can look away from a painting, but you can't listen away from a symphony
