I think they have revised the agricultural grow zones

Snow here too"
We too have had milder winters with less snow. Since 1960 the USDA Zone Map low winter temperature zones moved north about 200 miles, and higher in altitude by 500 feet. It is one of the most irrefutable and compelling evidences of climate change and global warming. Those who deny it must not garden. We used to be Zone 5. Now we're Zone 6. Zones were refined into A and B. We're Zone 6a. I don't get the people in professional agriculture who deny this. Dont they pay attention to their own university test plots, research, and strain variety development to produce better yields under increasing GDD? Most people I know in pro ag are aware of it. They plan based on it. Acutely. Deniers they absolutely are NOT. I see it first hand every time I step outside the door. I record and document it, and take part in production of the "big picture." Growth characteristic tolerance to +5F Growth characteristic tolerance to -5F This trait is adaptation to rooting growth on mountain slope soil that freezes, freeze-thaws, and slips from freeze-thaw.
