That is why midweek instruction is important
Once per week is not enough, if they even go to Sunday School. The churches determine who does the teaching. The state has no role. Testing? I hope there are none. The goal is to have the children learn stories and enjoy doing that. Testing ruins that. I enjoy reading history a whole not more now than when I was tested on it.
