IMO schools should be teaching nothing but the basics until they get good at it...
then other things can be added. No time available for the basics should be released to any other task until the basics are being effectively taught. I do see a degree of a double standard there. We want to create this rock solid wall for sexuality where the public school system should have NO involvement and parents should be the SOLE teachers of their children in this matter. But when it comes to religion, we should do whatever we can to weaken or bypass that wall... Which should it be? Should schools be teaching social/moral matters? Or not.
