"but not by your own story..."
Says who? Upon what do you base your unsubstantiated claim?
"if it never happened.... it never happened..."
Despite that I've no reason to believe I was any less persuaded that "it" had happened to me in my religious days than you are today that your god has opened your "spiritual" eyes to the existence of this unseen world (I presume this (the text I've italicized above) is what you mean by "it"), the evidence, IMO, overwhelmingly suggests that "it" has never happened to anyone -- no, not even you -- given that the evidence, IMO, overwhelmingly points against the existence of a benevolent personal God, as man's profoundly self-interested, self-centered bias would tend to create.
"is your non-faith is based on other's non-faith..."
That's hardly the case, as you would know if you knew the "story" of my exodus from the Christian religion, so no need to wander down that path to nowhere.
"can't debunk that"
Eh? Don't know what you're driving at here.
"Being convinced by God is one thing, falling away another (ask Judas)"
Agreed, two different things differ from each other. That's pretty fundamental, so no need to consult Judas (or for that matter, Plato or Aristotle or Forrest Gump) on that one.
"but never knowing but rejecting the reality?"
Rejecting reality? Says who? Well, you, of course. And I do know what you base your unsubstantiated claim upon. Your personal beliefs. And have your personal beliefs been demonstrated to reflect reality? No.
"That's on the individual."
I hope for your sake that ignorant judgmentalism isn't "on the individual." If it is, you must be suffocating beneath the oppressive weight of it all.
Of course, this is all academic. As I said earlier, "All it takes [to debunk your claim] is to point to ONE person whose 'spiritual' eyes were formerly open to the arrogantly mislabeled 'fact' of the unseen world, as you put it, who now denies the existence of such a world." That was accomplished before the posting of word one of this post.
