that "your opinion/belief" is exactly what YOU yourself have posted throughout this thread?
And yet you judge me to be someone "never knowing but rejecting THE reality" [no, you say, not "your opinion/belief" (which is exactly what it is and all that it is), but rather "THE reality" - emphasis supplied to spotlight the incredible arrogance] and convict me in the kangaroo court of your mind with the words, "That's on the individual."
My "story" has not changed one iota -- ever -- and I deeply resent your vague, inaccurate, accusatory contention that "it appears your story changed for your own reasons."
YOU: "So why bother to come to a discussion board about "religion and ethics" to knock other's beliefs if not to change them to your own?"
Rather than rush to unchristian judgment by ignorantly answering your own question with misguided speculation, why not simply pose the question while calling upon the virtue of patience as you await ever so briefly the actually illuminating answer to come from the one and only party qualified to answer?
No, I am not concerned in the least about your belief; rather, I am dismayed and repulsed by your unabashed arrogance. It was your arrogant, uncharitable reference to the so-called "FACT of this unseen world" (emphasis supplied) that prompted a response I would not otherwise have bothered to post. Yes, it was at that point that I received "the calling" to illustratively demonstrate the un-factuality of your so-called fact. And you owe it all to you.
Neither do I appreciate that you then proceeded to fault me for "rejecting the reality" (your so-called reality, that is), a phrase dismissive of all views other than your own.
YOU: "I take my faith as a reality to mean that I can understand and grow in it."
Then grow in contemplation of the ethics, or the lack thereof, I should say, of dismissing others' sincerely held beliefs by proclaiming your personally held world view to be THE Reality.
