…and Germany in particular from an economic perspective. The way economic constraints influenced their pre-war and wartime strategy, and how it ultimately doomed them. One interesting conclusion I remember was that they conquered Europe in part to try and build a large enough economy to rival England, Russia, and the US. But for a variety of reasons they actually saw almost no benefit in terms of industrial production and overall economic might from their conquests. The discussion of prewar economic conditions in Germany was also really fascinating. Previous Message all the way back to "Start World War II" it was kinda all downhill for them from that dumb idea
