Definitely hit up Havisham Bourbon Bar. Very cool place and it is in Alto Pass. Alto Winery is a good stop. The Iron Whisk in Cobden has a good breakfast. The restaurant at the Shawnee Lodge has pretty good food and it is family style fried chicken. A couple of drinking places….The Duck Inn is on route 3 and near some of the good places in the forest to see. some roads to go on that we usually hit when jeep’n…. Snake Road (currently closed for migration, but you can walk it), State Forest Road and then do the north loop and south loop, Pine Hills Road has a nice couple of overlooks you can stop at. In Jacob there is the Bottoms Up Club…not a strip club, just a bar and restaurant…has good fried chicken. Kinda north, but you can stop at Long Branch Saloon and then hit up Scratch Brewing. Crazy Joes Fish Shack is up that way as well. Heard good things about it, but never stopped as they have weird hours. I’ll see if I can think of any other suggestions.
