Not just in terms of the basic caliber of the Illini and TSJ compared to their other opponents. But we’re also a team that’s faced Purdue and Edey 4 times, which is the sort of real game experience to prepare for Clingon that almost no other teams have. We won’t have an adjustment period to realize what that sort of defensive rim protector means for our offense.
And our transition ability is also the best counter to a top halfcourt defense.
We have a better chance to beat UConn than any other team in the country with the possible exception of Purdue.

It’s time, y’all.
I am so happy for the players and their families, for the coaches, for the DIA, and for our incredible fans. We deserve good things.
UConn is awesome, but this team is built for this game, and to beat this team.
