Most of the time I've adapted. On the humorous side - before I retired, I learned quickly that what I thought I had whispered - I had actually announced to an entire meeting room. Oh well.

I was a very social person - this has slowed my roll.

For the most part - I can still get out and do stuff on my own - I have learned to just tell people I can't hear well...most are very considerate and take the extra measures to make sure we are commuicating.

If I have to go into the city - someone is usually with me...and that is kind of a pain in the ass. No more lone road trips that I loved to take. Flying may be a bit of a problem so I am looking into the European cruise trips lololol...sheesh.

Really life is mostly normal - alot of the chit people are mumbling about, I probably didn't want to hear anyway
