2016 isn't very easily explained - certainly against all odds based on numbers going into it. But if you had queried in 2014 or early 2015 who the next presidential candidate for the GOP would be - the answer was Jeb Bush. The uniparty was in mortion to tank Hillary longer than it is given credit for - so I assert Trump did not beat Hillary - the uniparty did. It backfired on them - thus the birth of the Lincoln Project and the extreme 'never trump' hatred.

2024 was too big to rig - in other words - there were too many legitimate voters involved and not enough enthusiasm for Kamala to make it convincing.
