I have not seen credible evidence indicating it wasn’t.

There seems to be an element among the election losers that will claim it wasn’t free and fair (Hillary and Trump, for example), but I have not seen any credible evidence that fraud or cheating was prevalent enough to change the outcome.
Are you aware of anything to the contrary?
