...is that he used to have more consistent, ongoing control over his "out there" statements...when it turned from serious assertion to abject nonsense, it did indeed have that sense of a deliberate ploy about it. To me, that's no longer the case, at least not consistently. At times, instead of trigger-laden ragebait aimed at garnering an angry reaction, he just babbles semi-coherently. "Old man yells at clouds" sort of stuff... But again, credit where due: whatever his actual role in the Gaza ceasefire has been (and every indication is that it was substantial), he's kept it together enough to help secure important progress there.
