As I understand it, Wiki contains what people like you and me contribute. I'm sure they do some overview and editing to remove dishonest and/or otherwise offensive material.

I'm sure they have to significantly birddog articles about controversial people like Obama, Harris, Trump, Biden, etc.

I contribute financially to Wiki annually because I find it useful and mostly credible because the things I search for are not likely to be corrupted by political zealots, although they might be somewhat "enhanced" by folks with vivid imaginations.

I have contributed articles about historical family members, including an aunt who is a famous artist and agricultural researcher, and my father who was a well-known pioneer in the hydro and fossil fuel power generation field.

I could submit an article about myself, since I am the pioneer in my field, dating back to 1976. We'll wait and see.
