Re: Tree climbing Cal'y
Well, a foot up my arse to get moving. Went out to the back-room of the garage last night to get the artificial tree. We were “real” tree devotees until 2-3 years ago when suddenly a “real” tree didn’t seem to hold its needles for more than three weeks. Since we leave it up the obligatory twelve days, the trees were a fire risk. Never had this problem in all of the years we bought “real” trees, bought off a lot (local pre-cut) or off the farm where I cut it myself. The last 3-4 years have seen particularly dry summers, so I theorize that this is taking a toll on the trees. Whatever, a hundred bucks for a tree with a short indoor “life” span is no bargain...we’ll punt to the artificial. So now it’s sitting in the parlor in its box. I guess we’ll get to it in the next day or so.
