First, my statement has nothing to do with the content of the particular vid you posted. It has to do with political vids in general.
Second, there is an agenda here. I'm not interested in the mainstream internet notion of posting things with the idea of pissing me off. "Did you hear what he said about this?" "Can you believe that?" "Listen to me as I summarise why you should be angry." I'm tired of it all. Anger is exhausting.
I don't need a synopsis about what is bad about one or the other, no matter how learned the producer of the piece is. Cui bono? Who benefits? Why do they make these? They aren't making vids for their own amusement. They are doing op-ed pieces to further an agenda for a reason.
Perhaps I resent being told what to think, not when I still know how to think. I can take the what-when-where-how of an event or series of events and make my own conclusions as to why. I neither need to be told what to believe regarding why, nor do I have to rehash that stream of events over and over at the expense of my sanity or any number of pints of stomach acid.
I know he is a shitbird. I know the other guy is a shitbird. I conclude all their fellow travellers and sycophants are shitbirds. I do not need a polished review by distinguished lawyers to rehash the evidence neatly and cogently to come to these conclusions.
I shall be waiting patiently for someone truly distinguished and unbiased to discuss both sides and their destruction of statesmanship for gutter politics. That one will be a long time in coming, I won't need it, and even that will piss me off as I have already come to that conclusion long ago.
Lastly, I tried to watch some and quickly lost my interest and my patience, if I'm honest. I've already heard it and seen it and have drawn my own conclusions. It is not a matter of, as you put it, "doing you a courtesy" by putting myself through that again.
Trust me. I know how to think.
