I have deliberately avoided posting any downers but then if I croak suddenly you'll all wonder why I never said nothing! I hope my demise isn't imminent but you never know.

What triggered this was Sarges commments elsewhere about his colonoscopy well I had one too with similar lack of satisfaction and I suspect they screwed up my gut when they did an operation to remove two polyps because ever since then I cant eat anything really solid like baked pie crust.

I also had an endoscopy and they left me feeling unsatisfied with their vague verdict of probably no problem right now but maybe later.

Thanks to the govt I have lost my medicaid which means I'm stuck here for life as that paid for the 2 man ambulette crew needed to carry my mobility chair up and down three flights of stairs.

Also despite three separate attempts to get knee replacement the verdict in each case was NO without a satisfactory explanation. Its getting so much harder and painful to walk with two sticks and bones clicking like a ratchet and pawl mechanism that a messy future seems likely not that I'm getting much joy even using Miralax as the radiation treatment buggered up more than my todger.

I'm taking 14 pills a day and my tummy isn't happy about them either but usually yogurt and jello ballast staves off the burn.

If they cut my medicare I might as well be dead since my weekly doses of an anti inflammatory jabs could cost 10 grand per 4 week prescription, no one was more surprised about that than the quack who prescribed it.

To cut a long story short I'm getting pretty used to being in constant pain thanks to the morphine which takes the edge off it, but losing any joy in eating is a letdown especially as poor overworked tammy who is also suffering from medical issues, does her best to locate treats I can eat. The inability to eat is as much to do with being toothless and I'm trying to motivate myself with artwork despite who knows what blockage is in my digestive tract.

So now you have some brief idea about my absence and I could say a lot more on the subject of disappointing ostriches but I understand that some bogeymen are too much to face as I'm guilty of the same reaction but unlike yourselves am constantly inundated with the latest unwelcome factoids so have to try and make the most of it.
Still I'll be 78 in July
