The whole point was to avail yourself of the medical system, but now it sounds like there is no reason to continue there.

Would it not be worth a rethink to then get yourselves in a situation where you have ground floor accessibility, far cheaper living expense, available food service, et al?

Not my business, surely, but it sounds like the reasons for moving to the big smoke are no longer. Why continue to suffer the conditions further?
