Faked injuries are a rare occurfance in the NFL...there are penalties for it if it's perceived to be faked.. It seems a much more common occurrance in soccer/football. I flipped on the LAFC/Portland MLS game yesterday (an Americanized version of the European game) and was immediately greeted by the sight of some guy rolling around on the field after shoulder-bumping another player. No cards issued.

It seems to be a rare occurrance in the Mexican league games I've watched. I guess they're tougher.
