No it usually takes anything upto 5 working days for any results to issue forth but I don't have to hang on the phone for an hour waiting for someone to pickup and give me the results as they have a system at my surgery (possibly nationwide also) where when the results from the lab are put onto their computer system, the patient can log into their system and see the results for themselves. This shaves a day plus phone time off the wait.
