And the sad thing is that it's the most unpatriotic and unscrupulous people who are causing our demise by profiting from lies, hate and divisions from within what is supposed to be the "United" States of America.

We live in the most diverse country in the world, and in my opinion, it is our diversity that has MADE us the "greatest" or most productive and prosperous country in the world. But the unscrupulous and greedy among us use the fact of our diversity as a convenient weapon to create false narratives and divisions so that they can divide, conquer and enrich themselves beyond obscenity.

IMO, we need campaign finance laws, and truth in broadcasting and advertising laws as a start to stop this decay and destruction of our democracy/country.
