Goes without saying I'd love the archaeological sites (my degree was in Anthropology) but just seeing the area, the people, the culture and the food would be great, too.

Our Ancient Greek professor in College threw a party for the class once, she had some Greek delicacies she'd made like Moussaka, very good. And there's a good local Greek fest centered around the major Orthodox Church in Columbus, more good food. Friendly people, I've always found.
