The unpleasant parts of the bill will probably not go into effect until after the midterms or some even after trump's term is over. That's how they work it, so they can blame the dems for any ill effects that kick in if/when they get elected... and meanwhile, dt keeps blaming the previous admin for any ill effects people might feel now, while also selling the US as the "hottest country" right now ever in the history of the world, yada yada... And they expect people to buy all that garbage.

Sat on the front porch to watch the fireworks show tonight. They do it a day ahead of time now. Anyway, at the end I could hear one of the neighbors send out a rather feeble "woooo"... then a pause and another "woooo" That was it. Definitely not nearly as many fireworks going on from the local yahoos this year.

Seems more like a funeral than a birthday celebration. Sad.
