ADMIN
So, we got creative. The age restrictions generally don't apply when you are trying to come to Canada to go to school there. So, my wife applied and was accepted at a university.
We applied to move with her, so if her student permit is granted, I will get a visitor permit, and my daughter will get a permit (I think it is visitor, as well).
Because my job is remote, not only can I continue to work on my visitor permit, but I don't have to pay Canadian tax on that income.
After my wife has done her 4 years of university, and my daughter has done her entire high school in Canada, we will have to see about staying longer.
If my wife and I can't, we are hoping that our daughter can.
But, a lot can change in 4 years.
We will see.
