and for good reason. The needs are quite different, and the bigger majority cities usually take precedence when it comes to doling out the money... but people's perceptions are often way off.

For example, blue states and districts often support the red states and districts through federal tax dollars. Rural hospitals, education, roads, etc, are examples of where that money goes from blue to red districts and states.

The current administration just seems to want to cut anything and everything that doesn't directly benefit the rich or djt's cronies, and it will end up hurting the people who voted for them in the rural areas the most. But of course they won't tell people that. They will just continue to divide and conquer.
