World response to Felon's first and second UN addresses tell a story to which we best pay attention. The 2017 address, the world laughed at him. Surely his election was a fluky mistake? But this time, the world took him quietly and very seriously. It was less a reflection on him, and more on us. How could we possibly elect this man twice? Are we as a people actually THAT stupid?
In League tonight, Lucky Strikes defeated Team 10, 4-0. I bowled a 742 series with a 287 high game. I led our team, which I was grateful and elated to do as they carried me through my slump. My adjustment was to make my backswing higher, really as high as I could comfortably go, and then relax, drive through, getting a well timed release. Had only one open frame in all three games. Team 10 is four avid Trumpers. MAGA. They were pissed about the church shooting and burning today. Isn't it odd, churches with shootings and violence are also politically active? There's a lesson worth learning. We beat them by more than a hundred pins each game, which pissed them off more.
The Maximillian sunflowers are blooming. I'll get some pics tomorrow. These are cluster New Mexico sunflowers on very tall stalks, and they're usually the last perennial to bloom before frost. and first snows, which generally happen in the first week of October. We're there!
The Peak wore a fluffy wooly white hat all day today. Forecast says no weather change, but the clouds tell a different story.
Leaf peepers clogged the mountain highways this weekend. It's like the craze of "bagging fourteeners" that peaked a couple years ago, shifted to leaf peeping.
